"Trailer Park Woman" is a gleeful classic of poor taste with some of the most brilliantly funny lines ever set to music. It's one of a few songs on the cd that are simply new versions of classic Pinkard & Bowden tunes. The new songs, such as "Viagra" are easily up to the standards of the oldies, and the listener is left wishing there were more of them.
However, one can't fault Mr. Bowden for the paucity of fresh stuff--this fine man is incredibly busy trying to transform a lovely little East Texas town called Linden into the next (but better--with 100% less Yakov Smirnoff) Branson. Musician, Public Servant (Bowden is a duly elected member of the city council in his beloved hometown,)Empresario and more. Richard Bowden is truly a man for all seasons. I urge all discerning lovers of the arts to visit www.musiccitytexas.org online, or much better yet, in person.
