      Album Description

      This album includes some of Dudley Moore's best-love jazz performances, recorded live in England and Australia by The Dudley Moore Trio--Dudley Moore, piano; Peter Morgan, bass and Chris Karan, drums. The performances on this CD were among Dudley's favorites. Dudley was President and co-founder Martine Avenue Productions, Inc., a company he created to bring his works to the public. Martine is proud to continue this work in Dudley's memory. Proceeds from the sale of this CD will go toward two charities that were important to Dudley--Music For All Seasons, taking live music into facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes and shelters for children and victims of domestic violence; and the Dudley Moore Research Fund for PSP, searching for a cure for the disease from which he died in March of 2002.

        This album takes you on a stroll down memory lane, enchanting all the way. It is relaxing and soothing listening, and will be great background music for a candlelit dinner for two, an evening party with a mix of ages and backgrounds, or just to sing with while you get some work done. The orchestration is excellent and the performances wonderfully smooth. A hit for everyone!

            Album Description

            Mark McDonald's debut CD is acoustic blues at it's very best. The CD was recorded in an effort to recreate the original Delta Blues recordings of the 1920's and 1930's. All tracks were recorded live in the studio with no overdubs and a minimum of editing. The songs range from country and Delta blues classics and standards to excellent original songs. Also included are 4 instrumentals, featuring acoustic or steel resonator guitar, and one, Great Long Time, with harmonica. This CD is filled with excellent guitar work, soulful harmonica, and strong, honest vocals that come from deep within.

                  Album Description

                  Vinculum Symphony Live is the third release on BC Records. A composition for chamber orchestra and experimental instrument builders, it features some of the Bay Area's finest instrumentalists playing with the of the West Coast's most inventive experimental instrument builders, sculptor/musicians build and improvise on their own creations in the tradtion of Harry Partch.

                  Vinculum Symphony premiered in September of '99 to sold out capacity crowds at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. It was an historic event that brought together inventors Trimpin, Oliver DiCicco, Chico MacMurtrie, Darrell DeVore, Susan Rawcliffe, Bart Hopkin, Brenda Hutchinson, Krys Bobroski, Peter Whitehead, and Tom Nunn with the virtuosic Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, and prominent members of the Bay Area's rich improvising community including Jon Birdsong (Beck), Chris Grady (Club Foot Orchestra), DJ Christian Jones (Eighty Mile Beach) and Tina Zenon (Sacred Heart Choir).

                  The event was recorded and this recording is culled from the best of four nights and features a variety of written styles and improvising.
