About the Artist
The String Band Revue is a family of dedicated people who have been led to present Gospel Bluegrass Music that they might spread God's word. It began with one man, who loved life,people, and music. One day this man reached out and took the love the Lord offered him. He rejoiced, believing in God with his whole house. D. L. Brown along with his wife, Jean,and daughter Lindi combine their talents with Mark Tomas, to share the gospel with others.
Their humorous presentation of Grandma Gretchen and Cousin Dee Dee and their relaxed transition from the comic to the serious provide entertainment as well as a spiritual uplift.
They have appeared on T.V. and Radio. They have been seen in churches, at sport shows, concerts, benefits, and many civic functions.
The songs in this album are a testimony of the joy and wholeness of life the Lord has brought to this family.

It was our pleasure to pioneer the sound of Bluegrass music in our state. We are thankful for our many fans including the past govenor Cicil Andrus.
