Editorial Reviews
KVLR RADIO Twisp, Washington Don Ashford DJ
"Emele has a great new CD. Her talent as a singer/songwriter definely speaks for itself."

Product Description
Surprisingly versatile and emotionally exciting! This new collection of music is definitely AMERICANA! There isn't a classification for the style as it is a blend of jazzy blues, folk and a touch of country.

The first song, "The Load" is a ballad reflecting life out on the road with Emele fingerpicking on her Collings and John Weeks weaving his violins around the melody taking you on a ride in the Northwest winter.

"A Time In The Day"is a bluesy tune about relaxing at the end of the day on a ranch with the horses- a Favorite with all audiences-Terry Hunt's lead guitar highlighting the mood.

The musical journey continues on the 12 string to the haunting "AND WONDER" about the less fortunate and truth.

"Talkin To Your Wife Again" is fast paced with jazzy guitars about a band member on the road.

One surprise song is "Greazy Breakfast" with clarinet backing up this vampy ballad about breakfast over the campfire.

"Factory Blues' is about supporting a child and working the 40 hr a week job- another often requested tune at live appearances. Wayne Mendro's Saxaphone really gets the blues as he weaves around the factory lines!

The finale "Dance With Me" wraps up the album with a country dance waltze inspiring it's listeners to take part and get up and dance. It's about being on stage watching the audience interact with each other. Her harmonies on this sound like a choir with John Weeks' violins as you "dance" with them.

Emele-A Time In the Day

Emele-A Time In the Day,Emele Clothier,Emele,Original voice for sure, and gutsy lyrics - she goes out on a limb.As a rhythm guitar player, she's right up there. Good variety of music, style and good backup players.A MUST HAVE.
