Happened upon this band and fell in love! Groovy music for hanging out with friends on a hot summer day, or driving down the highway at night. They remind me of the Bottle Rockets. I have already ordered their new cd, "Thinking Out Loud."

I saw these boys live in Boston, bought their cd and love it...if you are a fan of heartbreakin' honky-tonk country music....yu can't miss with this cd...they tear it up live too...plus i paid more for the cd at the show...good deal..listen to Drinks in Heaven....great song...
Good Honest American Music.......2001-11-06
Cash Monies produce honest down to earth music with a touch of humor. Songs like 'Rocking Chair" and 'Drinks in Heaven' are both funny and poignant. Definitely worth a listen. I highly recommend seeing the band live when you're in Boston.

This is the freshest, earthiest sound I've heard in years. Lyrics, harmonies, guitar work - all near genius. Pain with a flippant attitude. Too bad though, these guys would have really gone places if they hadn't broken up.
Far away from mainstream.......2004-04-13
Had the chance seeing the band live in Hannover, Germany, and 20 people came to see them, too! This band is quite unknown in Germany, but they're great!
"Thinking Out Loud" rocks more than their debut-album - you can hear the influence of Georgia Satellites-Mastermind Dan Baird, who produced and played guitar. It's good to know that there are bands like these in times of all that techno-hiphop-rap-house-stuff and in a music-business being reigned by horrible casting-shows. Thank you boys - 4 points to you and 1 to Dan, makes 5!!!
