About the Artist
Ray Winch is a singer-songwriter from the New York City area. His first release "Visions & Reflections" on his own label was met with critical acclaim and has been enjoying increasing commercial success. In the last year Ray has been booked as the opening act for The Marshall Tucker Band, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Hornsby, and The Charlie Daniels Band. Ray developed his unique vocal style singing in church choirs, clubs, and coffeehouses. He was a member of the Reverence Gospel Ensemble while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Ray successfully combines elements of Rock, Folk, and Country to create a style that is appealing to a wide audience. He is equally comfortable singing solo in a small coffeehouse or performing with a full band in a large theater. His new recording "Live At The Sacred Bean" is scheduled for release in June of 2001.

Great album you would'nt think he is a Jersey boy with the California feel of some of his songs. Reminds me of vintage Jackson Browne. This is the kind of CD you put on for a good road trip you do not need to skip any tracks the entire CD just has a good feel. The standout track is Heaven orginally from his first CD. You can't go wrong here BUY THIS. I have known Ray since he was kid and 40 plus years later he still is one of my best friends Way to go Ray. Tom T

First heard Ray warm up for Marshall Tucker about 4 years ago. Then again at a fundraiser for a mutual friend. Had the honor to attend this live recording and be among the first to purchase it. Have listened to it hundreds of times since. Ray writes and plays well, sings even better. He is a fine musician (IMHO) and a good man. Buy this CD and if you don't like it I will buy it back from you.
