Editorial Reviews

Scot's sings strong, clear, mature, and from the heart. He is a great mix of Garth and George Strait.

Product Description
First Country Western CD released by Scot Meeks of Texas. It's a combination of traditional sounds and cutting edge country. It includes all new material with the exception of "BOOT SCOOTIN', which is an old classic, but with Scot's new upbeat, fresh rendition, it gets an update. Songs come from writers Terry McBride, Jeff Stevens, Don Cook, and Scot's own, 24 Carat-Gold. CD was recorded at Willie Nelson's Pedernales Studios in Austin Texas. Over 1,000 songs were reviewed by Scot and Producer, Lynn Daniel before final selection was made. There are definitely several songs that could end up single hits on this his first CD!

5 out of 5 stars This Texan is a Star!.......2006-11-20

I love this CD and can't wait to hear more from him. My husband and I call this "our CD"- we both fell in love with it the first time we heard it.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT NEW COUNTRY SINGER AND SONGS.......2000-12-05

This CD is amazing for a first timer. The song selections are great in that there is variety, from boot scootin to slow with all new material. I love EASY TO LOVE. It is sung with such feeling and ease and appeals to the heart. Scot Meeks is going to hit it big with this. I already am looking forward to the next CD! The Texas boy is the real thing with a rodeo background and Ferrier to boot. I see him rising to the top of the charts quickly with his voice and style.
