Editorial Reviews
Pamela Morris
Scot's sings strong, clear, mature, and from the heart. He is a great mix of Garth and George Strait.
Product Description
First Country Western CD released by Scot Meeks of Texas. It's a combination of traditional sounds and cutting edge country. It includes all new material with the exception of "BOOT SCOOTIN', which is an old classic, but with Scot's new upbeat, fresh rendition, it gets an update. Songs come from writers Terry McBride, Jeff Stevens, Don Cook, and Scot's own, 24 Carat-Gold. CD was recorded at Willie Nelson's Pedernales Studios in Austin Texas. Over 1,000 songs were reviewed by Scot and Producer, Lynn Daniel before final selection was made. There are definitely several songs that could end up single hits on this his first CD!
