read carefully.......2006-05-17
While this looks like the "original soundtrack", Read carefully and note that this is a Japanese reissue and doesn't sound anything like the soundtrack I was anticipating from the movie. My error in not reading the details, but the CD cover and wording of the page are somewhat misleading.
The Best part yet!.......2001-12-27
Ok i have to admit i am obsesed with the Lord of the rings i have seen the movie love the book so i may like it alittle more then you guys but i think this is almost better then the movie! I also agree with that other reivewer you should see the movie first but after you have this CD is soo good! It makes you remember the good and the sad parts of the movie and it also makes me smile when i remember what part of the movie it came from. And if you like Lord of the Rings and have a Phone from voicestream dont for get to visit their site and get free ring tones, screen saves, caller id pics and IM pics!

If you remember the Lord of the Rings movie then you will enjoy this soundtrack, for those of you looking for music inspired by the book, it might not do it for you. Each piece keys very well with a point in the movie, but not as well with the equivalent point in the book. All in all though the music is good and a joy to listen to.
I love the music from this movie!!.......2000-08-24
I remember watching the movie, and just loving every time the Orcs would run. There was this Dr. Who rock song-type of rhythm. It was definately more tribal than Dr. Who, of course. But I loved it nonetheless. The music is partly why I loved the Lord of the Rings movie. Any fan of The Lord of the Rings movie, should get this soundtrack.
