About the Artist
Sonny was raised 1/2 Yankee, 1/2 Rebel, with a little bit of a Coon ass mixed in. Spending the early years of his life learning, writing, and performing in the New Castel, Wampum and Pittsburgh Area of Pennsylvania, he moved 2 Houston, Texas in the early 80s Graduating in 84. Sonny made the Air Force his "home" 4 close 2 10 years, and never once turned down an opportunity to perform. After tours at Little Rock, Arkansas (314th CES) and Kunsan, Korea (8th CES) Sonny was accepted in 2 Air Force Entertainment's, "Tops in Blue" where he was taught the do's and don'ts in staging, lighting and sound design by some fo the countries best ROWDIES.
During the last few years of his enlistment, Sonny spent time stationed between Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas (Tops in Blue) and Hurlburt Field, Florida (505th CCEG.)
Sonny adopted the Mississippi / Louisiana area as his "home" in 93. And continues 2 learn grow, and entertain there.
