Editorial Reviews
The Record, July, 1999
Hogan is one of the very few Cancon country indies who earns the considerable airplay he gets. And this sophomore album, produced by Rick Hutt, would - in better times for country music - be picked up by a major without a second thought. The first single, Sure Fire Love, won immediate acceptance, and there are some other decent tracks here, including the mid-tempo opener, Tired of Leavin', and the one cover, John Hiatt's Don't Know Much About Love.
Product Description
With the exception of two tracks, Sean profiles his own songs. Though country music comes to mind as an easily slotted category for his stories and voice, elements of R&B, Folk and Rock all seem to be naturally woven thoughout his compositions. Coproduced by Rick Hutt. "Love Letters" features a cowrite with award winner Jamie Warren John Hiatt's "Don't Know Much" is the one cover tune on the album.
