Effervescing is a stunning second album by Call Me Ishmael. Many musical influences can be heard, particularly by the likes of the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Jeff Buckley. It is hard to put Call Me Ishmael into any musical category since their style is so varied...a spacey mesh of psychedelia, punk, and 21st century rock. Standout tracks are the title track (Effervescing), Fell Asleep in A Pool, and Catch the Drift.

    I love this CD. I grew up with the artist from kindergarten till now. He has gathered some friends and made a very interesting collection and very well recorded. It is my favorite in my cd collection. "One Horse Town" is about as real as it gets!
