I am still waiting to be able to hear this tune somehow before I buy it. I have heard rave reveiws about it, but am at a loss as to how to hear it first. It is a real problem ?

Here is a taste of Adam Brand for the US.......2001-12-13

Okay, so I may think he is a bit of an aussie dag, but I like his stuff because of this. His accent though it has a twang, is Australian and that's all you need to promote the country talent we have in down under.
A good mixture of light and dark, reflective and toe-tapping, "Good Friends", the 2nd release for Brand is worth your while. The suburban sounds of "When The Needle Hits The Vinyl" and the album's opening, "Big Old Car" takes you back to hot Australian summers in the country with your family - "Little Sisters" features an absolute corker of a line in, (they'll annoy you but,) "I'm bullet proof and ten feet tall when they say I love you". The album also features some wonderful moments such as a Sunday-Morning anthem, "I Did What" and "Every Man Likes You". Honesty is perhaps what stands out most in this album, the idea that a love is still there, though in a different form after a parting of two people ("Good Things in Life") and doesn't descriminate between ages with such tracks as "'Needle" and "You Are To Me". All in all, a country album that has the makings of a classic. Don't pass up what comes from Tamworth to Nashville.

I hate country music..........2001-09-03

But when I think no one is watching I can't help but smile over this album from Adam Brand, kinda hard not to with tracks like "I Did What?" and "Beatin Around The Bush". Perhaps most admirable about this guy is his true country sound, complete with twang but without compromising his Aussie accent for the sake of American exposure or notariety.
Now I'm not saying I'm completely converted, but I don't mind this stuff....or that latest self-titled album of Keith Urban's...or some SheDaisy songs...or Rascal Flats...Oh I am in REAL trouble!
