4 out of 5 stars Not Bad.......2005-08-04

This double album has plenty of songs on it from a certain era. Some of the songs seem a bit dated, but it has about ten real winners on it. It could be for you.

5 out of 5 stars excellent complimation.......2005-01-01

this complimation cd is HOT 2 DEF!!! you think you know but you have no idea.... this cd could play in my cd player for life... it has all kinds of hits...

you cannot lose with the best track on the album 'in a dream' by rockell.... this song was the perfect skating rink song... the beat to the song sold me...

they have a bunch of others that are excellent pieces of work...
melanie c. aka sporty spice-"i turn to u"
deborah cox- 'nobody suppose to be here'
jocelyn enriquez-"do you miss me>?'
the bucketheads-'boom!"
madison ave.' don't call me baby'
amber- 'this is your night'
aqua- 'barbie girl'
alice deejay-'better off alone'

the only song i hate is the 'blue' song... that song is too friggin annoyin... and there are a few fillers but the songs listed makes up for it....

if you like to party for hours buy it.... parties will go all night....trust me..

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Completely worth the excessively cheap price..........2006-10-09

I've listened to this hot disc 25 times in the last 3 days.

My fave? Gay Dance Goddess Deborah Cox with her dancealicious remake of "Something Happened On the Way To Heaven", originally an 80's chart topper for Phil Collins, and remixed by the effortesly talented Valentin.

I've had that song on repeat for the last 45 mins.

A bit of a fanatic, huh?

But not in the Glenn Close "bunny in the pot" way. ;)

Toss in the sexy soulful voiced Christina Aguilera with her GLAAD award winning "Beautiful"... hottie Adam Levine and Maroon 5 with "This Love (and another of their singles mixed in)... and another Vixen of Soul, Angie Stone with "Wish I Didn't Miss You" and you have a great spinner.

For you 80's lovers of Madonna, U2, Steve Winwood, and Boy Meets Girl... that makes it a well-rounded disc.

Add Beyonce, Britney, Kelis, Lasgo, Kelly, Thrusting of Narcotics, Miss Osbourne and, well...

You'd have to be headless to not enjoy this disc and play it at your next party.

Cheers to Karen Walker... she of the "headless" horsevixenz.

Of course, Amazon delivers on the price. They always do.

Cheers and shakes of the tail featherz -
~j~

Although the CD is good, be aware that the CD is NOT the entire set offered by Musicspace. There are actually 2CDs and the product offered is only the first CD. I was disappointed to find this out when I received the shipment.

5 out of 5 stars Great Album. Better than Ultra Dance 07........2006-03-12

Fired Up 3 is 10 times better than Ultra Dance 07.I have been listening to Fired Up 3 over and over for the last 2 weeks and still enjoy it. I could not stand listening to Ultra Dance 07 after only 2 days because of the crappy mixes.

4 out of 5 stars Decent, but could have been so much more!.......2006-03-03

I'm slightly disappointed with this third issue of "Fired Up." It features too many U.S. Pop songs that are not that great in a slower or faster context, the main offender being the mundane single by "Since U Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson. So many of the songs on Disc 1 have been overplayed by radio, especially in the Northeastern U.S., so many who have the CD-singles to such singles as "Milkshake" by Kelis, "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce, "Something" by Lasgo, etc., you don't need this CD. There are song noteworthy singles here such as Deborah Cox's #1 Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart hit and Rhythmic format radio hit, "Something Happened On the Way To Heaven", the U.K. #1 hit and "Call On Me" by Eric Prydz, "One Word" by Kelly Osbourne, her big Stateside Club hit, "I Wish I Didn't Miss You" by Angie Stone and "I Like It" by Narcotic Trust. The lesser singles should have been replaced by higher quality songs have were original produced for the Rhythmic/Dance radio format such as Kylie Minogue 2004/2005 Stateside club hits and internation Pop chart smashes, "I Belive In You" #3 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play and "Giving You Up", Amber-"Just Like That" the (Jason Nevins Radio Edit), Suzanne Palmer-"Luv 2 Luv", Jody Watley-"Whenever", Anna Vissi-"Call Me", "My Time" by Dutch feat. Crystal Waters, Kristine W.-"Save My Soul" and Donna Summer-"I Got Your Love." All of those hit singles would have been vastly superior hits by solo artists to be included on this third volume of "Fired Up." The superior two disc version of "Fired Up 3" features a second disc of awesome Stateside Club hits and mainstream European Pop chart hits such as "Love On My Mind" by Freemasons feat. Amanda Wilson, "Lola's Theme" by Shape U.K., "And She Said" by Lucas Prata, "Come Rain Come Shine" by Jenn Cuneta and many more! Overall, this one disc version of "Fired Up 3" is decent at best with far too many remixes of mostly mundane and bland Pop songs to be taken seriously by lovers of the Electronica/Dance genre. I suggest any albums in the "Circuit Boy" series if you want more Electronica/Dance genre hits and less pop song remixes. Get the better two disc version instead if you desire. Hope this review is helpful to you.

3 out of 5 stars An Short Review From A Fan Of The Series.......2006-02-22

I have purchased the previous Fired Up! releases in the past and haven't had a single complaint on them until now. This CD, Fired Up! 3, is the worse of them all. There are 18 total songs on the CD and I'd say about 13 of them are good. I don't hate this CD, don't get me wrong, it's just that they try to turn to many slow songs into a fast moving techno song. My favorite track on the CD is number 9, "Into The Groove" by Mad' house. I mean seriously, how can you turn Christina Aguileras "Beautiful" into a techno song. Anyways, I'd recommend the CD if you like techno because like I said, half is AWESOME and half is CRAP.

I've been looking for a copy of this re-made club version of "Heaven" since it came out when I got engaged to my now husband 3 years ago. To me, it made the cd worthwhile. The other songs are good, stuff that's been out and I've only heard snippets of but remains familiar. I listen to it while washing dishes. Sure does make the time fly...

5 out of 5 stars Fastway - 'Fastway / All Fired Up' (Beat Goes On).......2007-06-25

An essential 2-on-1 UK import of Fastway's first two lp's remastered onto one CD. Their self-titled, ('83) debut and 'All Fired Up' ('84). As always tunes here that are the most memorable include "Easy Living", their first single "We Become One", "Steal The Show", "Tell Me" and "Stranger". Even better than this I heard that Fast Eddie Clarke had recently reunited Fastway. Believe he's the sole original member. Need to get vocalist Dave King back in there.

5 out of 5 stars Very Good Old Style Blues-Metal!!!! .......2006-10-19

I really can't add much that hasn't already been hashed without admitting that I'm older than dirt and my most commonly used word is "What"! But I want to add that Pete Way (UFO) played the Bass on the first LP (I bought it the day after it hit the shelves) hense the name: "FASTWAY" Git It, no really Git IT!!!

Real Metal is On It's Way Back, So if You Do Not Like LEAD GUITAR mixed with you bloody grooves - YOU LOOSE!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Fastway's best - two great rock albums of the 80's.......2006-10-12

I was surprised to see that the powers that be released this conveniently packaged CD of Fastway's first two albums - their best work - so perhaps younger rock fans will be exposed to these well-crafted and energetic songs. As for me, I snapped it up and most of the time it's in my car.

As a teenager I spent hours in my room with my dad's 64 Fender Musicmaster and a Peavey amp, learning to play just about every song on these two albums (I had 'em on vinyl). Fast Eddie Clark was a rhythm guitar god in my book, and after 20 years I still think his work here is under-rated.

For straight-forward guitar-based rock that's meant to be cranked and played air guitar/drums/bass with, it's hard to beat early Fastway.

2 out of 5 stars Well...........2004-04-30

There's no real reason for this two-for-one. For my nickel, all the Fastway anyone would want is on the debut record. Lemmy probably laughed his boil off when he heard "All Fired Up". All riffs and no substance do not a record make.

5 out of 5 stars All fired up.......2003-08-25

So sad that this Fastway lineup could not have last longer.
These two recordings were performed in 1983 & 1984, in that
time I owned the records and turned me into Hard Rock. The
style is similar to Led Zeppelin since David King (voc.)sounds
so much like Robert Plant. I already have the first Fastway CD,
but could not be able to find "All fired up", now I got two
copies from the first one (though the first includes "Far
far from home" as bonus track, not included on this one).

I seriously considered purchasing the "Fastwat Collection" but I
couldn't understand why does that not include the song "Tell
me" from All fired up, this song is something else, is a
killer, really. Jerry Shirley sounds perfect on drums (former
Humble Pie) and so does Charlie McKraken on bass (former of
Taste-Rory Gallagher), obviously Fast Eddie Clarke's riffs
and solos are the trademark of Fastway's sound. In spite the
short life of this band, they created great music, great

hard rock that is worth to have it (even more if you're a
Zeppelin fan).

4 out of 5 stars Mostly Good.......2006-03-15

This CD has many good songs, however, there are also a few songs that seem like filler. Overall the CD was good. Just get rid of the fluff

4 out of 5 stars Good Dancing.......2004-08-31

Unlike a lot of the other reviewers, I was a baby when these songs first came out so this has nothing to do with nostalgia. I just like the songs. Some are very catchy and I like to dance to them. There are a few clunkers (like Insomnia) but the good outweighs the bad.

5 out of 5 stars Fires me UP!.......2004-02-28

If you were dancing at disco techs in the 90s, this album will bring back tons of memories. I really can't think of a better name for the compilation...'cause this album sure fires me up!

4 out of 5 stars Great Collection, but with a few lows.......2004-02-12

I just love this collection. Has a lot of the cool dance songs I like.

I think the only dishonorable mention is the awful version of "I see You Baby", much worse than the original Groove Armada version.

But sure the good songs make this disc totally worth the money and the wait.

5 out of 5 stars Gets Me Fired Up!.......2004-02-05

My friends and I are in LOVE with this CD! It makes us extremely psyched up for a long day of classes. We crank it up during Journalism Class. Our favorite tracks are I Turn to You, Feels So Good, Do You Miss Me (Now That I'm Gone) and In A Dream. BUY IT!

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Your "best shot" for Pat Benatar compilations.......2007-04-05

As far as compilations go "All Fired Up" is a VERY comprehensive overview of Pat Benatar's career and great starting point for fans and casual listeners alike. I have many of her old albums on vinyl and didn't want to really replace them individually on CD but effectively did that with this compilation. Most of the tracks you could possibly want are all here including all 15 of her Top 40 hits, fan favorites, and awesome album tracks that weren't singles like "Hell is for Children," "I Need a Lover," and "Lipstick Lies." It's easy to caricature Benatar as the prototypical rocker chick, frozen forever in her 1980s video glory, but "All Fired Up" helps to shatter that by showcasing later tracks from her releases "True Love" and "Gravity's Rainbow," capturing her full range and charting her growth as an artist and vocalist.

"All Fired Up" is a superior collection especially compared with the skimpy offerings on "Best Shots," her other greatest hits compilation. The sound quality here is overall pretty good but the packaging doesn't include much more than track listing information and a lot of wonderful photos. If you're looking for your "best shot" at a Pat Benatar compilation THIS is the one to chose!

    Album Description

This is the third CD for Hamilton Loomis and it brings to mind the soulful rhythms of the Memphis Sound of the "60s-horn-driven, bluesy, fat and funky sound. Hamilton co-produced this CD with King's X veteran Steve Ames, and wrote nine of the eleven cuts. He also wrote and arranged all the horn charts, and plays some hot harp and keyboard solos as well as his "Fired Up" guitar. Hamilton used his six-(6) piece band, which includes two horns, guitar, bass and drummer. At the release of his first CD in '94 critics called Hamilton a guitar whiz, phenom and prodigy. He has proven them right, performing steadily in the Gulf Coast area, building a loyal fan base of all ages.

Great music! Voice is amazing with some soul. Musicianship out of this world!! Seeing him live is even better!!!!!!!

3 out of 5 stars Hamilton Loomis is an.......2004-06-27

artist that isn't quite there. Having listened to both of his CD's I've found 2 or 3 good songs on each one. The rest tends to be a little formulaic and uninteresting. While the bands he employs are tight, the material often consists of time worn riffs and trite lyrics.
This would probably be a good live act in a small venue, but for repeated listening...........it leaves me a little cold.

5 out of 5 stars PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES!!.......2002-10-12

Put on your dancing shoes! This is a fantastic CD with lots of energy. We were lucky enough to have Hamilton perform at our wedding reception. Everyone danced, young and old alike. He was a hit, just as this CD. Buy it now! You will not be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars all fired up about hamilton.......2002-08-17

hamilton loomis' all fired up is the best blues/jazz album I've heard in a long time. Hamilton surprised my wife and I in the spring of 01' when he and his band stopped in our little bar in fort smith ,Ar. We were having an open mike night and they stopped in and ripped out 3 songs from this c.d. and blew everyone away. He left us a copy of the cd and I have been singing his praises ever since. There's not one song on the cd i skip past. If you're a fan of the blues and contemporary jazz, blues you will love this cd

    5 out of 5 stars great talent.......2002-03-01

    5 out of 5 stars Intelligent dance-oriented songs.......2004-11-06

Funky Green Dogs' debut album "Get Fired Up" is an awesome album of Progressive House with some Tribal beats in the mix. Includes the awesome hits "The Way", "Fired Up", "Some Kind of Love " and "Until the Day." The vocals are very good as well as the lyrics. This was only the beginning of what of what the Murk boys could do. Recommended.

4 out of 5 stars Dont hate on this album!.......2004-01-19

There are more hot tunes than not on this album! All the haters of this album were the very ones shakin their a** all night long on the dance floor whenever they played it in the club. The very ones who can sing "Fired Up" and "The Way" and even "So Good" word for word. Ok, I admit the lyrics aren't that difficult to learn after listening for 45 seconds of play but still! They're catchy!! Hot beats! As far as composition the interlude tracks made no sense to me, however this album still gets me moving. The tribal sounds are still as fresh today on this album as they were back in the mid 90's when it released. And Pamela Williams vocals are strong and evoke a feeling of freedom and empowerment from within on every track. I feel that this is definately a upbead, feelgood cd worth having in your collection.

    3 out of 5 stars okay effort........2000-01-14

i first became aware of fgd in the early 90's with a track called "reach for me". the group was actually called "funky green dogs from outer space" at the time and their sound was fresh and live. when i saw that they had a full-length album, i snapped it up immediately - i was thrilled to find it. however, i wasn't thrilled, but not exactly disappointed by the album when i first listened to it. it just did not contain songs with the same drive and energy as their earlier works. admittedly over time, the cd has grown on me and makes good background music, but i don't ever select it as a "warm-up" cd for getting me in the mood for dancing and it is far from being a favourite.

    2 out of 5 stars Repetitive, monotonous.......1999-02-25

I bought this because of the fabulous singles, "Fired Up" and "Until the Day". I now know why that's all we heard in the clubs. The same dull lyric over and over again, along with the same dull beat. And what is with the almost nil mention of their only asset, vocalist Pamela Williams, in the credits.

2 out of 5 stars These Green Dogs are'nt funky enough!.......1998-08-25

This Cd was a real disapointment after I heard good things about the two dj's that comprise the funky green dogs. I was expecting something original and off the wall. This Cd is a collection of R&B songs not groundbreaking dance music. It was just not funky enough for me.

    5 out of 5 stars Awesome!.......2005-04-20

This collection of songs combines a balance of environmental action and deep awareness of nature and the role humans are called to play as members of the Earth community. My personal favorites are "Expanding Universe" and "Lay Down Your Whopper" which I have enjoyed with groups of humans of all ages.

5 out of 5 stars Kids of all ages will love this.......2002-04-20

I have been a big fan of Dana Lyons's music since 1978, when I was a college freshman and Dana was my college roommate. (Ok, so I will admit that I am biased but ...) This collection of songs by Dana and friends comes the closest of any recording to capturing the absolute blast that audiences get from Dana's live performances. My three kids love this CD, and I do too. Our favorite song is Recycle Wrap, which we sing while we take out the recycling on Thursday nights. If you want your kids (or anyone else you love, including yourself) to have a CD of songs that are fun and funny (and yet still thought-provoking at times), get this CD.

5 out of 5 stars Its realy funny and great........1998-09-14

I thought that it was a great cd and it was very very funny. And id like to thank Dana Lyons for doing that cd.
