The fun of these "Pickin On" series has been in hearing bluegrass versions of bands like Pink Floyd, Aerosmith or the Beatles. They have had great material to rejuvenate. However, when you pick on Lonestar, there are mightly slim pickins! When a group is immortalized for one song---"Amazed"----you have to be careful in paying them a tribute. While the aforementioned is definitely a great song, only "Smile" and "I'm Already There" come even close. The rest of the tunes on these songs are do disposable, you wonder how these great musicians had any fun with them? But try some of the other more "esoteric" pickins, they even do REM!
