Ballin'.......2007-06-13
Wayne truely is the best rapper alive he can take anyones beats and make them his own..... Like he once said "i can say don't rhyme and it rhyme" he's right..... this cd is dope and i would suggest it to anyone who likes Lil Wayne
Very Impressive.......2007-05-24
Lil Wayne Is in my opinion, the king of mixtapes right now. He is avereging about 1 mixtape every three months. This Mixtape is Awesome. Alot of his other mixtapes have people from his record label, and you only get to hear Weezy on one of the verses. However, on this mixtape he does it mainly by himself. This is more like a full cd or two. Great punchlines, I had to rewind a couple of times because I was dumb founded. Definitely worth the buy. Cant wait for his next mixtape!

Great record.......2006-12-09
This CD is excellent. My favorite song on this album is without a doubt, Magik Journey, but there are several other good songs as well.
Ratings:
Magik Journey: 5
Again, this is my favorite song on this album. It starts out with a mysterious and somewhat melancholy tone. However, two minutes into the song, it has more of a dance feel, with heavy beats but still an enrapturing quality to the music. At the end, it returns to a similar tone to that of the beginning.
Close to You: 3
I wasn't impressed with this one, though it may just be my general dislike of this type of music with a lot of vocals. The beginning is nice, but to me, it turns into more of a pop feel.
Dallas 4 PM: 5
No specific comments; I just like this song a lot. It has a good beat to it. It's a song I like to just turn up loud and enjoy.
In My Memory: 4
Nice song. Good vocal effects, and it isn't too heavy on the vocals.
Obsession: 4
At first I gave this one a 3, but then it grew on me. It starts out soft, despite the steady base that seems to promise more to come. It does build up, but never fully erupts into what I expect, except for some time after about 6-7 minutes into the song. However, overall, I do like the song.
Battleship Grey: 5
Despite my general dislike for vocals, the vocals in thissong are beautiful, along with the music itself. It's slow, if not a little morose. It just resonates for me.
Flight 643: 4
This is a decent song, but eventually it just gets a little annoying, with the same theme pervading throughout the entire song, and that annoying note/noise that plays continually.
Lethal Industry: 5
Starts out rather repetative, but a good theme starts to emerge about halfway through the song. Another song I just want to turn up and dance to. It is simple, but enjoyable.
Suburban Train: 5
This is a cool song with some nice effects in it.
Overall rating for the entire album: 4
My First Trance Experience with this CD.......2006-01-11
I met Tiesto first time in Tel Aviv. I really enjoyed his performance and I bought this CD. Actually If you read the comment at 1st page it may be right but Tiesto is driving you with his performance and it takes to the climax of adrenalin during his performance. Excellent transitions & excellent selections make his performance always 5 stars. So I would recommend first you to see his performance then you should buy his CDs. Then may be you can create your own mix using his performance as well. It's going to be good experience on the road of being a good DJ. Enjoy and Good Luck:)
excellent.......2005-11-18
In My Memory is probably Tiesto's best piece of work, along with In Search of Sunrise 4 (and 3 too I guess). This guy actually crafts his songs. This album truly demonstrates his variety in the field of trance, from deep, ambient trance to the more hard, dancefloor kind. In fact, the tracks In My Memory, Lethal Industry, and Adagio for Strings in themselves make the album worth buying. I can't wait to see him spin live!
Classic groundbreaking trance / chillout album..........2005-04-06
This is one of the few albums I can actually listen to all the way through without any stops of skips...From the synthy and techy opener, to the masterful chillout of "Close To You"and "In My Memory", to all-time club bangers like "Suburban Train" and "Lethal Industry", this album is a must-have for any fan of melodic and emotionally moving electronica.
Not his best, but still good........2005-02-11
Not one of Tiesto's best releases, but its worth buying just for Track 2: Close To You.

Pretty cool live DJing, but it's not great as it's a little cheesy and dated.......2006-01-12
First of all, the album isn't all that long and it's pretty repetitive (he repeats the same song - "Let Me Clear My Throat"). DJ Kool himself isn't that great either - he's not bad, but I think some people might not like him. The beats here are pretty great, but his singing/rapping ruins it in a way (also, the production is pretty good but could use some remastering). If you like him, though, then that won't matter. The most well known song here is the lesser known hit "Let Me Clear My Throat" which most of you have probably heard before but don't know who performed it. The lyrics here are pretty pointless as it's essentially just a party album. If that's what you're looking for then it's merely "good", but I doubt most people would call it great. Overall, it's a pretty short album that genre fans will like, just not love. All in all I'd still recommend it.
Highlights include:
the entire album!
Hot Club Song!.......2003-06-16
My Favorite song on this album is of course Let Me Clear My Throat, my friends and i recently visited Cancun, Mexico and this song was one of the most popular club songs that was played over there, i love this song, it just gives u this special kinda energy to just get to the dance floor immediately and do your thang, this song is off the rip..4 real
Awsome.......2002-05-02
Awsome techno cd, for anyone who likes good dance with a nice beat.
Awesome party album!.......2001-01-21
The only reason I gave this album 4 stars is because it was way too short(only 8 tracks and 2 of them are an intro and an outro). But otherwise, this album is slammin'! It's a great cd to play at a party or in a club! The best song is the title track Let Me Clear My Throat(which is featured 3 times on the cd: the regular version on track 2, the Old School Reunion Remix on track 7, and on the 20 Minute Workout Remix on track 6), but I also really like the songs Put That Hump In Your Back, and I Got Dat Feelin'(which samples the beat for Naughty By Nature's classic song "Uptown Anthem"). If you're looking for a good party album, pick this up today!
Let Me Clear My Throat Is PHAT.......1999-06-05
This album is PHAT!!! Track #2 Let Me Clear My Throat gets any party bumpin. If you want to get tha honeys on tha floor this is the album that will do it!!

It's Puuuurrrrrrrrrrrrfect, Meow Man!.......2005-05-23
What can I say about the beautiful & unique Miss Kitt? No one in the world can obtain such a voice set to classic NRG music. Eartha is on my top ten list of IMPORTANT people & things in my life. This CD is a MUST have for those who appriciate classic dance traxx. Eartha teamed up with Bronski Beat to create The wonderful CHA CHA HEELS trak. This trak/vocal was intended for the late DIVINE (Female Trouble) but to an untimely death, Miss Kitts vocal talents were used & to only surface a smash club hit! Earthas talents are X-TREME, RARE & ONE OF A KIND. There are no other cats out there who can top her. A BIG MEOW for Eartha, 5 Paws up ! Thanks, Schroeder (DJ WACK "O")
Not classic Eartha but still fun.......2004-08-13
I bought this album because of the many great titles. However, upon hearing it, wished I'd gotten her Purr-fect Greatest Hits instead, which are pure classics that are timeless.
On this album, Eartha sounds great, but competes too much with 80's synth-pop. Her original songs are worthy of worship, but these are only worthy of a campy flourish.
Hot Hi-NRG: Far Better than most of today's Club/Dance Music.......2003-07-06
The Grand Lady of 20th Century music, Eartha Kitt released this set classy but sassy Hi-NRG in the late 1980's is far more superior than most the commercial trash that some people dare to call club/dance music. Every silible Eartha says is magnificent, seductive & a joy to listen to. The backing music could not possibly be better! I came across this album one day while wondering if Eartha Kitt had ever done a club/dance music album. I love Hi-NRG completely and this disc lives to my exepectations. My favourite tracks are "Where Is My Man?", "This Is My Life", "I Don't Care", "I Love Men", "Arabian Song", "Tonite", "Grand Vie", "Cha Cha Heels" & "Where Is My Man"(1994) which samples Culture Beat's #2 hit single "Mr. Vain". The definition of Hi-NRG is a fast variation of disco that evolved during the 80's. Driven by a fast drum machine and synthesizers, Hi-NRG is essentially a dance-oriented music with only slight hints of pop. I highly recommend this cd to Hi-NRG fans & to those who want to exprience what Club/Dance music is really is like.
Edith Piaf's mentor!.......2002-02-04
I once thought no chanteuse could top the gutteral musical expression and nasal francophonics but Miss Kitt has done it. Especially Arabian Song and "La Grande Vie" surpass many of Piaf's attempts at such lyrics.I felt like I was on the Champs Elyseé sipping a burgandy (....) and hearing the voice of Miss Kitt wafting from a little bistro as the Tricoleur furled in the Parisien spring beneath L'Arc Triomphe de l'étoile. Bravura mlle. Kitt. merci.
CHA CHA HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2001-04-16
A fantastic collection of a disco diva. the most fabulous track is the 12 inch version of cha cha heels with the bronski beat included on this collection. it's worth buying just for that track but the others are all fabulous as well. go miss kitt!!

Product Description
Obsessed with fresh skateboards and unconcerned about what other emcees are about, Lupe Fiasco is on the leading frontier of hip-hop's progressive new school. Representing Chicago's West Side, the 24-year-old has been hailed a leader of the new generation of conscious rappers unconcerned with guns, gangs and its empty glamorization.
You were likely first introduced to Lupe Fiasco upon hearing Just Blaze's addictive manipulation of Curtis Mayfield's horns from "Move On Up." Asked by Kanye West to anchor "Touch The Sky" (the 4th single from Ye's multi-platinum Late Registration), the Windy City's premier young rapper has since become one of the most buzzworthy emcees in hip-hop. Originally signed to Atlantic Records in 2004 after negotiations with Def Jam fell though, Lupe is nonetheless slated to release his major label debut alongside executiveproducer Jay-Z when he drops Food & Liquor later this year.

His Flow..........2006-09-17
When I heard him on this rhymin off Dead Presidents I agreed with my friend in that he is the best MC since Jay to spit to that. His flows are really dope to hear and his lyrics/punchlines are insane. For a such a young dude he has a lot of talent. I hope he keeps makin ill mixtapes.

lupe is a bad artist.......2006-06-08
lupe lives up to his good standards and can rap better than alot of artist out threr 5 star lupp keep up the good work
FYI.......2006-05-27
Um, all this is some kid who took 3 of Lupe's free online mixtapes and took a few of his favorites from each. I can make you a "Touch The Sky" mixtape, too - or you could just make your own after searching out the ROTN, Fahrenheit 1/15, and A Rhyming Ape mixtapes, all of which Lupe has put online for free. Then again, if you're lazy, just pay the 7 or 8 bucks I guess. Anyway, Lupe gets 5 stars, this mixtape gets 3 for being a not-so-clever attempt at making money by one of these lame GFX heads you see on hip hop boards who Adobe their lives away.

Album Description
The term 'Dust My Broom' is rooted in the blues music of Robert Johnson. In the figurative sense, among others, this term means to "make a clean sweep" and as such indicates the beginning of something new. It's an appropriate title for the second album by Boozoo Bajou, two Nuremberg based producers Peter Heider and Florian Seyberth who have joined the !K7 Records family after years of collaboration with German independent label Stereo Deluxe. It's also an appropriate term for a group that takes a huge amount of inspiration from the diverse musical landscape of the deep-south "Bayou" culture - from blues to country to soul.
Dust My Broom marks a fresh chapter in the sound of Boozoo Bajou. Their famous laidback sound has been extended into a broader territory that borrows from blues, jazz, reggae and soca rhythms. This new territory is deep, with wide, rejuvenating references that are multi-layered. Boozoo Bajou communicate different types of "roots" music and convey their intrinsic affinity to it. Blaxploitation style soul, deep blues, Southern folk, jazz and original R&B all combine with Boozoo Bajou dub to form a beautiful mosaic.
The album features collaborations with UK based MC Top Cat (known for his work with Shy FX), country legend Tony Joe White, U-Brown, Joe Dukie, and soul crooner and voice of the infamous Foxy Brown film soundtrack, Willie Hutch.
These highly impressive guest vocalists contribute to the overall impact of Dust My Broom which despite the German conception has its roots firmly planted in the USA. Both White and Hutch were recorded in their native Tennessee and it's this TN feeling that sweeps through the album. Like taking a boat through the bayou, the Boozoo Bajou duo has created a captivating guide through exotic lands.
Customer Reviews:
Pure driving "atmosphere"..........2007-02-24
Boozoo Bajou aren't your normal, run of the mill electronica/dance outfit... they're somewhere else. Quite where can be difficult to fathom out at times but don't let that put you off because "Dust My Broom" like "Boozoo Bajou Remixes" is a clever and hugely addictive album. Soaked in driving beats, wonderful reggae & dub overlays and some ridiculously atmospheric, heavily reverbed guitar riffs, it's like Kruder & Dorfmeister meet Dr John and King Tubby with a bit of Luther Vandross thrown in for good measure. Sounds odd... well it is - check out "Keep Going", "Blast", "Killer", "Take it Slow" & "Treat Me" to see what you're in for - but then that's what makes it so good.
Decent album, but diluted compared to Satta.......2007-01-14
3.5 stars. There are some very nice tracks on Dust My Broom. There are some grooved-out tracks that would feel at home on Satta, Boozoo's previous album that was characterized by chill, funky, instrumental, swamp mood music. And there are some nice tracks with guest vocalists that go in slightly different directions. But this follow-up album feels like too many other follow-up albums to me. It seems like these artists get some spotlight from superb debut albums, and then use that success to hire a bunch of guest stars for their next, in an effort to make something more "grand." But instead of improving on the originals, these sophomore attempts feel like disparate pieces thrown together in a manner that to a great extent abandons the elements that made the artists successful in the first place. This is a good album, but feels a bit artificially varied, and could never put you in the awed and ecstatic trance that Satta can.
Dust My Broom.......2005-12-21
"Dust My Broom" by Boozoo Bajou is getting a lot of high praise these days and it's actually warranted. There are a lot of downtempo laidback chill albums out there and this is one of the better ones.
There's a nice mix of music between downtempo, chill, reggae/dub, and some American blues thrown in. Add all that together and cook over some slow beats and you've got "Dust My Broom".
I enjoyed it. It's a laidback, slower album, good for hanging out or de-stressing. Good stuff from the stellar K7 label.
Wonderful concept album!.......2005-10-20
I hadn't really paid attention to these guys until Six Degrees Records co-founder Bob Duskis mentioned them as one of his favourite groups in his weekly Traveler internet show ([...]). I liked the track he played in the show so I bought the album and found out that I enjoy it very much. Straight from the beginning till the very end it's pure entertainment, conscious and fun. If you can't enjoy this alone invite some friends (boys and girls) and put this on to work it's magic.
Love songs in this cd are so beautiful and honest that you cannot help singing along (Joe Dukie on "Take It Slow" is one of my favourite male singers today and doesn't fail to excel with the rasta U-Brown and Willie Hutch on "Treat Me" is doing a gorgeous job with female backups). Dancehall party burner anthem "Killer" with MC Top Cat is so cool and catchy that it's sure to move many sexy bodies on global dancefloors. "Way Down" is a deliciously creepy tune with cool spoken word by Ben Weaver, who says things like "You'll never find a religion . in a perfectly clean soul" and other cool stuff. But most of all it's the FEELING that's all over this album you know...A very nice one with a lot of street credibility and that's not really so easy to create.
Biggups to the producers Peter and Florian and their collaborators, and to the whole !K7 crew. One of the best downtempo releases for me in 2005 (and as a DJ I've heard a few).
DONE & DUSTED.......2005-10-05
DUST MY BROOM: Boozoo Bajou made a bit of a splash (ha-de-ha) a couple of years back with DIVERS, a skanking reggae refit that found its way into a lot of DJ boxes, and ended up featuring on their debut SATTA album. SATTA was a mostly mellow, fairly low-key affair, appropriate when you consider that "satta" is a Jamaican term for "sitting", often used to indicate meditative repose. Where the debut album was mostly made up of shimmering, dusky instrumentals with occasional voices floating by deep in the studio mix, DUST MY BROOM employs various guest songwriters with predictably mixed results. The tantalizing pairing of sound system legend U Brown, and Fat Freddy's voice of milk and honey, Joe Dukie for TAKE IT SLOW ends up being rather pedestrian - nice, but no revelation - while DJ Top Cat really mashes up the firing KILLER in fine style. Elsewhere, Tony Joe White lends a suitably menacing voiceover to the opening KEEP GOING, while Ben Weaver tries much too hard with a third rate Tom Waits impersonation that borders on embarrassing. Willie Hutch is sadly underemployed with the forgettable TREAT ME, but Wayne Martin, making a return appearance after a cameo on SATTA, fares much, much better with the low-down, slow-burning blues number, MOANING. The remaining instrumentals are gems, especially the atmospheric interlude, BIWAK, and the frosty NINE BELOW ZERO. All in all, DUST MY BROOM is a decent effort with at least a couple of outstanding highlights - worth checking out.

Perfect album! Another classic lost in the 80s!.......2007-07-02
Fun Fun is Italo disco at it's very best. The first half of the CD is all Italo disco tracks, while the last few are Italo House. "Living In Japan" and "Color My Love" are my favorite tracks. The cover of "Give Me Your Love" is really cute and upbeat as well. Every time I listen to this CD, I feel wonderful all over. Listening to this CD is like being a kid and eating lots of Jellybeans. Italo disco is the best music of the 80s in my opinion. This CD is gold! Great CD for those looking for a little more than the mainstream 80s dance songs you hear on the radio constantly.
This is true producer based italo!.......2007-02-25
I've been a huge fan of Italo (disco) for over 20 year now. Although most people I know find it "superficial", "simple" or even "dumb", the true italo lover knows better... We know Fun Fun is not about the two or three girls that are singing, it is about the producers Dario Raimundi and Alvaro Ugolini. I love the electronic bass line, the bells, the high hats, the intros, the break downs etc. This "Best of" is , as it contains only 12" versions, a collector's item. The Cd cover states that they used the Original Master tapes, but I'm not sure if that's really true: during the intro of Happpy Station it's seems that I hear the record playing...
The only minor point of this CD is the absense of the original version of Happy Station, it now contains the Ben Liebrand scratch version. Fortunately, Ben has included it in master quality on his Grand 12"s version 3: [...]
That original version of Happy Station is really magnificent!
Buy it and have fun!
Fun! Full of energy!.......2003-07-11
This cd is one of my favorites!I have really enjoyed Fun Fun since hearing them in the late 80's.A lot of fans of the songs, "Color My Love" and "Happy Station" didn't know too much about the group. They started in 1983 with singers, Roberta, Natalie and Spagna. After the release of "Color My Love", Roberta left the group. Roberta can be seen in the video, "Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna. Spagna went on to do solo work and was replaced with Eleena. Spagna continued doing backing vocals in the songs, Give Me Your Love" and "Give Some Loving".Fun Fun's music is known world-wide. Their most popular crowd was from Japan. The Best of Fun Fun is full of fun and energy. this cd is one to get if you enjoy non-stop dance music.
GET THIS CD IF YOU LIKE QUALITY HI-NRG!!.......2001-09-21
buy this cd, and add it to the classic HI-NRG collection!!
Fun Fun is one of the best hi-nrg groups that put out quality hits!!" baila bolero","capital girl","color my love","give me your love" all packed the dance floors at the disco! the new music is not the same as it was in the EIGHTIES, today most of the music is cheezy, with cheezy beats....back in the EIGHTIES groups were pioneering, today groups are BITING! even in 2001 this FUN FUN cd is great to party too.........

Smokin Buddy Guy!!!!.......2006-12-13
This is a live recording of Buddy in 1981 with his brother-Phil. It is in the SACD format and does it come out crisp and clear!!!! Buddy is great on this one[--loose and wild on the guitar-the way you want him to be all the time!! I have seen him several times now and back in the seventies and eighties. If you like those years of Buddy the best--I mean some long great guitar solos and that loose style--man you got to get this one. The vocals are great and his brother is good on the guitar and also sings two songs. Don't miss this one. 10 plus stars.
I would if I was a DJ!.......2004-12-09
Brilliant. Sound is crisp. Songs are great, esp. dedication to T-Bone Walker. All types of blues here, from funky stuff to slow stuff. Highly recommended and one of my favourites.
Deep blues.......2004-11-07
Buddy Gu's discography is really variegated and includes album waving from deep electric blues to rock - blues to acoustic cuts. This one, that is a reissue of an album recorded in Chicago in 1981, belongs to the first category. JSP have re-mixed the old material to surround sound and the result is stunning. The quality of sounds is superlative, however the most important thing is that the material included in the recording is absolutely marvellous! As quite rightly John Stedman states on the linear notes "Buddy cuts loose on every track with no concession to commerciality or radio friendly", this is a deep blues album played for lovers of the style with no intention to impress the big audience out there. In my opinion this must be one of the best album ever recorded by Buddy Guy (for sure the best I know), marvellous guitar work and superlative singing in a sequence of great blues songs played with great feeling. An important contribution to the excellent final result is given, without any doubts, by the great band playing with Buddy. His brother Phil share guitar duty and sings on tracks 9 & 10, Doug Williams does a fantastic job on rhythm guitar providing the right texture on which Buddy and Phil can develop their solos, while Mike Morrison on bass and the Chicago veteran Ray Allison on drums, provide a very solid and precise rhythm section. Very highly recommended to all the "real" blues lovers!
