Customer Reviews:
um, nice artwork though..........2006-02-27
Lee Ranaldo remains one of my favorites from the Sonic Youth cadre, and as such there will always be a place for this in my rotation. However it is short and somewhat disconnected. "Brand New Love" is not the cover I had hoped for, but just a scrap of Lee playing the first few bars from the song's chorus.
Great little CD.......1999-06-30
This CD has drones, some melody, poetry and great a cover of Sebadoh's "Brand New Love." It makes for a really great 16 minutes of listening. I recommend it for fans of Sonic Youth, especially those who like it when SY goes off on long instrumental passages--like they frequently do on the brilliant "A Thousand Leaves" and "Daydream Nation."
